Our Services:

Plumley Drafting will create simple, easy-to-read floorplans for
your property that include all the walls, doors, windows, porches,
etc. The drawings will also include some furnishings and
appliances to give the viewer a better idea of how the rooms are
used. The drawings are created using AutoCAD software, but will
normally be delivered to you as a .GIF file, ready to add to your
website, unless you specifically request the AutoCAD file.

What I need from you:

There are three ways to provide me with the information I'll need to
draw your home:

1. If you have the original blueprints your house was built from, take
them to your local office supply center and get 2 copies made. Leave
one copy clean (so I can read the dimensions clearly) and roughly
sketch your furniture layout and room labels on the other, then mail
them to me. (Better yet - your architect might be able to give you
copies of the CAD plans for your house - ask for the files in a .dwg or
.dxf format.)
Tip! Room labels should match the room descriptions on your
website, "Bedroom #1", "Bathroom #3", etc.

2. If you don't have blueprints, you can measure the house yourself
and mail your sketches to me. You don't know how to sketch a

3. Depending on your geographical location, I may be able to come
and do the measuring myself. Contact me if you're interested in this
option. Additional charges may apply for this service.

Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a .GIF file via email, ready to
insert into your Website, or if you prefer, I can mail it to you on a floppy
disk or CD. Multiple floors are no problem; you'll simply get an
individual file for each floor.

Where can you get large format copies made?

Many local office supply stores or copier dealers have engineering
copiers capable of making 24" x 36" copies. Check your local yellow
pages under "Copying & Duplicating Service" or "Copying Machines".

To locate a vendor on-line, go to Yahoo! YellowPages and select your
city, then click on "Other Professional Services" then "Photocopying".

Or if you happen to have a Kinko's nearby, they do large format
copies also. Clicking on the link will bring up their store locator.
